18th Annual 5K – to benefit Pittsburgh Steelwheelers For 18 years, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (WPTLA) has been organizing and holding an annual 5K to benefit a local organization, the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers.  The Pittsburgh Steelwheelers is an amazing group that began in the 1970’s when four men decided to turn their dream of having a Pittsburgh-based wheelchair basketball team into a reality.  Since then the organization has grown and used funds raised by the WPTLA to purchase specialized equipment and motor vehicles to accommodate those who are confined to a wheelchair who wish to keep their athletic drive

Statement from the Executive Board of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association in response to the recent Superior Court decision in Trigg v. Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

As the Death Toll Rises, House Bill 1064 Seeks to Limit Liability for Physicians
